Behind every great engineering solution is a process—and at AKSHAY ENGINEERING, our process is driven by precision, speed, and reliability. In this article, we take you behind the scenes of a real custom fabrication project we completed for a mid-sized infrastructure firm.

🔧 Client’s Challenge:

The client needed a set of load-bearing support brackets with unique mounting holes, precise bends, and a strict delivery schedule. Off-the-shelf parts wouldn’t work—they needed custom fabrication.

📝 Our Process:

Quality Check & Delivery
Final inspection was carried out for thickness, holes, and angle accuracy. Parts were delivered on time—within 4 business days.

Technical Discussion & Sketch Review
We started by analyzing the client’s sketch and understanding load distribution, tolerances, and surface finish needs.

Material Recommendation
Based on their stress points and corrosion environment, we recommended a high-grade galvanized steel.

CAD Drafting & Approval
Our design team created a 3D model using CAD software, incorporating exact dimensions and clearances for approval.

Laser Cutting & Bending
Using CNC machines, we cut each bracket with ±0.1mm precision, followed by hydraulic bending for uniform shape.

Welding & Surface Finishing
Where needed, joints were TIG welded and then zinc-coated to prevent rusting.
